Emory Kemph
PERFORMER, IMPROVISER, WRITER
About
HERE'S WHAT YOU SIMPLY HAVE TO KNOW:
I am Emory Kemph!
Throughout my adolescence, I considered being a chef, professional soccer player, and an astronaut after a rousing tour of the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.
None of those things panned out so I went with a backup - a life in the theater! Now I'm an actor, improviser, and writer. I love creating projects with different groups of collaborators that are weird and scary and funny. I love puppets and physical storytelling.
I studied at Playwrights Horizons Theater School and Stonestreet Studios at NYU Tisch, concentrating in writing, acting, directing, design, and film. I have extensive training in holistic theater-making. It's really important to me that any rehearsal process is a space for laughter and levity.
Now you know everything about me! Wait... should we hang out...
